How do we get started?
We begin with a short call or video chat to talk through your business, goals, and vision.
After the call, you’ll receive an intake form through Google Docs. From that information, I create three design mockups outlining the structure and overall direction of your site.
Once you approve a mockup, I move straight into building your custom website.
What Happens Next
After approval, I develop the full site and share progress at key points for feedback and refinement before final delivery.

Are you going to make my site look like everyone else’s?
Nope. No cookie-cutter builds here. Every site is designed around your brand, your industry, and your goals. If it looks generic, we’ve missed the mark.
How long does a website take to build?
It depends on the package and how quickly content and feedback are provided. Fast replies keep things moving. Radio silence slows things down.
Do I need to be tech-savvy?
Not at all. If you can send an email and click a link, you’re more than qualified. We handle the tech so you don’t have to pretend you enjoy it.
Do you include website hosting?
No. Hosting, domains, email services, and platform subscriptions (such as Wix or Squarespace) are billed directly to the site owner unless stated otherwise. You own it, you manage it.
Can I make changes during the project?
Yes, within the defined review stages. Changes requested after a phase has been approved may be considered out-of-scope and billed separately. Forward is always faster than backward.
Who owns the website when it’s finished?
You do, once all invoices are paid in full. Mountain Man Creative retains ownership of internal tools, processes, and templates used to build the site.
Do you guarantee SEO results or leads?
No guarantees. We follow best practices for design, SEO, and performance, but Google doesn’t take orders from anyone.

Do you offer fast turnaround?
Yes. Some packages include fast turnaround, which relies on timely communication, approvals, and content delivery. Speed is a team effort.
When does my website go live?
Once written approval is given, final content is delivered, and all payments are complete. No half-built launches.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. Some packages include post-launch website care. Ongoing support and maintenance can also be added as needed.
What if I want to add more features later?
No problem. Additional pages, features, integrations, or revisions not included in your selected package are considered out-of-scope and billed separately.
Are refunds available?
Because creative work begins immediately, payments are non-refundable once a project has started. If a project is cancelled, you’re responsible for work completed up to that point.
Can you show my website in your portfolio?
Yes. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, completed projects may be featured in our portfolio and marketing materials. We’re proud of the work we do.
