Before We Climb Higher: The Terms

Working Together

Building a website should feel productive, not painful. The process is structured, collaborative, and yes actually enjoyable. We take the work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Mutual respect, clear communication, and a bit of humour go a long way.

When we’re aligned, projects move faster, results are stronger, and the experience is worth both the time and the investment.

Business Hours

Mountain Man Creative operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm MT, excluding Alberta statutory holidays. Messages received outside these hours are answered the next business day.

Support & Updates

Ongoing support and routine updates are handled during regular business hours. Larger changes, additional requests, or work outside the original project scope may require additional time and billing. We’re flexible just clear.

Timelines & Collaboration

Projects move efficiently when communication and feedback are timely. Quick replies keep momentum high. Delays in approvals or content may extend timelines. Simple cause and effect, no drama.

Results & Performance

We follow proven best practices for design, SEO, and digital performance. That said, results like rankings, traffic, or leads can’t be guaranteed. Too many variables live outside our control. What is guaranteed is a solid foundation built the right way.

Portfolio Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, completed projects may be featured in our portfolio and marketing materials. We’re proud of the work we put out.

Ownership & Billing Notes

Website hosting, domains, email services, and platform subscriptions (such as Wix or Squarespace) are billed directly to the site owner. Due to the nature of creative work, services are non-refundable once a project has begun.

The Bottom Line

This is a partnership. Show up, communicate clearly, respect the process, and we’ll do the same. If you want great work, a smooth experience, and a few laughs along the way you’re in the right place.

Full terms are provided in the client agreement prior to project start.
